The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is an unprecedented situation that many families are dealing with right now regardless of the facility their loved one may be in across the country. No one ever thought that their elders would ever have to deal with a worldwide pandemic. As you know, this is a rapidly evolving situation – and one that is being played out in communities, hospitals, and nursing homes across the country.

We want you to know that we remain committed to providing upfront and transparent daily updates regarding COVID-19 in our facility. We will provide you with one email per day so you can remain as up-to-date as possible. Rest assured that our staff remains vigilant and supportive, and we are so proud of their loyalty and dedication!

Dear Residents and Family members,

As of this letter, we have  5 positive residents in the facility.  We do not have any positive staff currently.  Our Infection Control nurse reports daily updates to the Local and State Department of Health.  We are following all CDC and NJ DOH recommendations at this time.   We are in Outbreak status, and we need to report two 14-day cycles without new cases for us to receive a closure.

We are fully open for visitation.  All visitors will be asked to sign-in at the Kiosk located in the lobby and answer Covid-19 screening questions.  Please make sure that you are wearing a mask at all times while in the facility and participate in guidance that is available at the front desk when visiting.

We are currently offering the Pfizer bivalent booster.  If you would like your loved one to receive it please reach out to Gina Bosco at 732-458-6600 to request the booster.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. We will continue to make sure we take all necessary measures to protect our residents and staff.

Sincerely,

Jill L. Monahan LNHA
